At 3:16 pm I watched a small avalanche come out of the Apron, which is eastern end of main Devils Castle. There were two separate groups traveling into the narrow part of Apron. The top ski group of 2 were breaking trail and initiated the avalanche. About 150' below them was a group of 3 skiers following their up track. Luckily, bottom group did not get hit by the new snow avalanche. see pics below.
