Hiking out towards Stewart Falls around 2pm, groups heading back mentioned an avalanche had recently slid down and across the hiking trail about an hour earlier. No one on the trail mentioned actually seeing it happen but one group mentioned going out to the falls with out the slide being there and then seeing it across the trail on their way back out.
