Comments
While out and about today I noticed a large natural avalanche triggered in Exxon's Folly. Size and scale were hard to tell but, the slide looked like it ran almost the full track. The take away from this observation is that the shape of the crown was distinctly puzzle piece shaped and looked like snow from last night trigger a slide that stepped to a weaker layer below. Again the size of the crown was hard to tell but I imagine it was probably about 2' taking the new snow as well as the snow from last week and failing on the weaker faceted snow from earlier in the season
