Comments
After we triggered this avalanche I walked out on the debris to take a photo and got another very large collapse that was very audible and loud. This avalanche failed above the crust on very low density stellar snow. Adjacent to the avalanche our pit results were ECTP 13 on the same layer of snow just above the crust - about 18" down from the snow surface.
The slope to lookers right avalanched naturally at some point and was much larger. It looked to be 300' wide 18" deep and ran and filled the gully with debris.
