Comments
Witnessed a neighboring party trigger cornice fall while walking the PC Ridgeline. Cornice triggered a 300'Wx2'D - SS-ACu-R2-D2-O, with a 1F- slab over facets (some RR) above a crust, that formed around Feb 1st (ish). We found the Jan 23 rime crust ~10cm under the bed surface. Interestingly enough, we had a dug a pit in neighboring path (Homerun) with the same aspect and elevation and found the same layer of facets, with an ECTP21. Given the driving mechanism for radiation recrystalization, and based on numerous other pits dug on different aspects in the same area, it appears this problem may be isolated to this small area of E and ENE facing terrain within these elevation bands along the Park City Ridgeline.
