Comments
Skinned to the East saddle just prior to the last ascent up to Ben Lomond peak. High gusting winds has loaded the ridge line. With los visabiluty we dropped back down staying out of the first 1,000 feet of open bowls and at about 7,800 feet the temp warmed dramatically and the snow became extremely heavy under foot. I ski cut a ridge line north to northeast facing that was southeast of the weather station in one of the East facing bowls that looms down the ridge line to Cutler Ridge ascent and the slab ran the entire snow drift line between the rollover ridge of one bowl that dropped into the next bowl.
