Comments
Skied up from Aspen Grove (above Sundance in Provo Canyon) up the Alpine Loop road. About 1.5 miles up the road I turned up a sizable gully to the west and noticed a slide had come down the south-west facing slope to the north of me. From a map, the slope is 35+ degrees. Slide wasn't too deep, maybe 6", looks like the top crust layer slid. It looks like it slid today, but could have been yesterday afternoon.
Lot's of instability in the area. Plenty of slides in Primrose Cirque and off Elk Point.
