Saw this slide coming off the top around 3 pm, guessing triggered from warming. The point this slide released was in the sun. Multiple tracks around slide location but didn’t appear to have any skiers currently on the run. Snow around resort at that time was feeling heavy and chundery.
As reported elsewhere - In regards to slide that was triggered "naturally" off superior, it was a skier coming down around 2:30pm off Superior. I was on chicadee lift going to work and watched the entire thing happen. Curious to know why a skier was coming down that late in the day off a south facing slope. Also observed a slide off Hellgate cliffs today 3/31/19 at 2:30pm due to warming most likey. Probably not wise to be on south facing slopes right now.
