After a few hundred feet of skiing down stairs gulch 3 people one at a time. We met at a safe spot and I skied the next zone. While skiing down there was a choke with a cliff band above it. I skied into the choke and the snow cracked at my feet and propagated up to the cliff band. The snow carried me over a 15 ft icefall and dropped me into the snowfield below. The snow was over my head a few times but I was able to get back to the top before it settled. Minor injuries occurred but I was able to self extricate.
