Didn't have time to investigate this avalanche on Cardiac Ridge; all the information above is estimated. Certainly appears to have broken into old snow, presumably the facets above the October crust. Was not able to see indication of trigger....no tracks visible, nor could we make-out a pocket that might have come down from above. Possibly just a weaker section that failed under wind-load? Curious for follow-up information.
