Triggered three distinct, isolated wet slides while descending Eddie's High Nowhere. We observed evidence of roller balls, likely from rain saturating the snowpack earlier in the day. Temps had cooled when we were ascending the slope, but the snow was clearly wet/heavy/dense. Slides each broke beneath our skis and collected additional material/energy from both sides after trigger. Slides ran over a cliff band and down to the service road.
Calling this a fortune free lesson and practicing more caution with odd early season conditions.
