Comments
Did a morning tour up Mineral Fork and observed lots of evidence of wet activity. Pretty much all the NE gullies of Santiago Ridge had wet/loose slides, but when they occurred is unknown. We didn't observe any new slides during our time up there.
Around 9k ft N and NE snow was generally supportable, with more of a crust at 10k ft. W facing snow was much less supportive.
Around noon we turned around before summiting Santiago Ridge due to wind and graupel. On the way down we ventured into a W facing gulley and it was too soft to set a good edge and generally felt unsafe, so we avoided that aspect the rest of the way.
Also observed evidence of a wet slide on Room of Doom.
