Around 11am we were climbing hills up Steam Mill Canyon that appeared to be very set up and stable. I looped up and was rounding out approximately 15 feet below a cliff edge when the entire slab from the last storm broke loose from the cliff line above. After I realized it had me, I ditched the sled and jumped as high on it as I could and rode the slide down. Thank God it was very dense and slow-moving snow, and I was able to stay afloat. All other riders were able to avoid the slide and respond rapidly.
