Comments
Natural activity in upper Cardiff. While the ridge proper had a lot of sloughing and smaller activity, the classic NE slide path on black knob/Little Superior produced what appears to be a mid-week natural, likely as a high PI rate overhwelmed the weak layer. Estimated 4' deep, partially filled in with new snow and transport. Gives you an idea of how large the soft slab is from last week's storm. Did not see any comparable activity in Cardiac Bowl, though Alta control did release a deep pocket below Devils Castle on a N aspect. Also, little observed in upper days along the N wall. Isolated whoomph/collapse at a thin spot traversing Hideaway Park on exit.
