Comments
At about 11am our group was skinning up the ridge that sits between Will's Hill and Main Willow. This skin track was put in place earlier in the day by another party. At about 9450ft we noticed cracks extending from the skin track about 300ft across the north east facing slope towards Will's Hill. Below the cracks on a steeper rollover close to the tree line there was a slide about 80ft wide and 2ft deep that ran into the trees. We assume the party that set the skinner triggered the slide remotely, but it is possible that it was natural. The cracking was significant so we did not want to get too close in case another chunk let go.
