Problem #1 Comments
Along ridgetops light to moderate blowing snow was observed filling in ski and skin tracks. Some evidence of wind stiffening on leeward slopes near ridgecrests were observed.
Avalanche Problem #2
Problem
Persistent Weak Layer
Trend
Same
Problem #2 Comments
Snowpack structure is poor with several persistent weak layers observed widespread including depth hoar, facets around the CERC and recently buried SH that currently has limited slab on top. See photos of snowpits (You can't you add two in the appropriate box). NE seems more suspect than NW where snowpack had seen more heat and lower snowpack was moist and rounding.
