Problem #1 Comments
5-6 inches of new snow and snow from the Christmas storm resting on a bulletproof sun/rain crust was easily forming slabs with a CT10 result. Today's snow seems to be compacting the super light fluffy snow from the Christmas storm and forming a slab. I would expect this later to become more dangerous as it loads. ECTN

Problem #2 Comments
Nearly a foot of sugary crud right at the base of the snowpack did not fail during CT, but the CT cutout was cleanly and easily separated at the ground when pulled with a shovel.
