Observation: Swan Flats Area

A rider approached me at the TH and reported that when their group of several riders congregated in a large, flat meadow, they witnessed a very loud, thundering whumpf (audible collapse). The entire group heard the BOOM and felt the snow across the meadow collapse, even those with their machines running.

I rode up to the meadow just beyond the State Line and dug a pit to test the snow....
