Increasing Danger

Storm came in super heavy. Snow didn't lighten up until about 8,000 ft. The heavy snowfall was bedded on a saturated sog. There is a deep instability. There were 5 of us on the ridge, after 2 transitions, the ridge snow packed collapsed with a bang. The pack needs time to adhere an heal. With more snow in the forecast on a shifty base, use caution on steep slopes.
