Problem #2 Comments
past few tours bern trying to get a grip on our december spring and where snowpack depth hoar wet n where dry. For polar aspects i think wet depth hoar below 9000' . dry above 9200'. also wanted to take a look at rain/heatcrust. @9500 ect 9 failing just below recent rain/heat crust. rain crust 3" thick, pencil hardnesd with a thin layer of facets below, a lemon. dry depth whore and another layer of loose facets in between. boot pen to grd. New snow-blowing...not wet, 3-4" snow 9am-12am with some grauple mixed in improving riding every lap. low angle slopes enjoyable, steeper were not. as far as far snow coverage 7500' skinable. but not skiable 6" base. 8500' rideable. 12" base. @9500' 18-24" logs thinking of being covered.
