Snow Characteristics Comments

Not much snow out there. South and east have a super firm crust, some spots are smooth and other spots feel are quite rough. The "best" coverage above tree line was on SE aspects where 3"-12" of sun and wind crusted snow provide consistent, supportive turns. Didn't really warm up today however, so no good corn skiing.

Comments

1) South is getting melted out in most places. Trying to note areas that are mostly grass now as these could be good places to consider during the next storm event...

2) Southeast seems to have the most snow in the alpine right now- not sure how these stout crusts w/ facets underneath will behave with new snow loads.

3) Southeast face of Tuk-good booting conditions up the ridge.
