Comments

With the continuing trend of warm days followed by cold clear nights I wanted to see if the thin snowpack has begun faceting through the entirety of the snowpack. It has. I dug on a N aspect at 10419' in the Catherine's pass area protected from the sun with an ECTX (HS 68). By the time 30 taps had been completed my shovel had made it's way through the entirety of the column of snow and was at the ground as the entire snowpack in this location has faceted to the ground. Picture for reference.
