Went up to look around and ride a few laps on wolverine bowl. Started from the Grizzly lot made my way up to twin lakes pass and ascended Patsy Marley. We saw some debris near the top where there is a convex roll. The debris looked to be a few days old, likely from a mix of wind loading and PWL hidden under north facing slopes. Did not dig a pit in this area as a few folks had done that a day or two ago and found the obvious.
As we walked along the edge of Wolverine Cirque, a few of the steep, east to north east facing couloirs had either cracked or slid. THC had the most notable avalanche. Someone had skin-cut just above the couloir and their weight created a propagation along a rock band that acted like a perforation. The avalanche was roughly 30ft wide, ran a couple hundred feet(give or take), and had a 12-18 inch crown. See the image below.
Wolverine bowl rode as expected. Settled pow, wind buff, supportable. Still thin coverage but good turns were made. On the exit after a few runs, the south facing terrain toward Catherines pass was very hot and large roller balls were moving.
