Short tour up laurel highway today. Beautiful sunny day starting at noon. Coverage was pretty good all things considered, though plenty of timber still exposed, get that ollie ready. (P1) Noted surface hoar in the wide open meadows at 10200 (P2) and 10600 (P3). Getting out of the open made it go away at 10600 (P4). Something to think about with snow coming in tomorrow. Clouds started to roll in at 1:30. (P5). Great day to start the season even if I did forgot my snacks.
