We found nice shallow powder conditions and cold snow. Wind scoured on high northeast and east-facing slopes in Garden City Bowls, but nice on the west-facing slopes above the Swan Flts road. The fresh powder hid some exposed or shallowly buried rocks in mid-elevation terrain.

We found nice new snow and rapidly increasing stability today. This morning the new snow was not bonding well with the warm old snow underneath, especially where the new snow was drifted...By this afternoon, the new snow was already noticeably more stable.
