Comments
Went to PC Ridgeline today hoping that the old tracks got smoothed out by the wind and a coat of graupel would improve the skiing. Up in the wind zone this seemed to be the case, out of the wind zone old tracks could be seen and felt. The main hazard today was shallow windslabs on the ridgelines which could easily be controlled with ski cuts, they were up to 8 or so inches deep and would run a few hundred feet. The wind continued to blow most of the day so there might be lingering windslabs tomorrow but I would expect them to settle out quickly.
