Snow Characteristics Comments
We found the full spectrum of snow surfaces - wind crust, breakable crust, MF crust. powder, corn, etc. Low angle low elevation offered the best support and a bit of damp dust on crust conditions. The range looks like mid-winter with last storm's coverage.

Red Flags Comments
This area is known for building big cornices. Even light winds were moving snow today, but the warm temperatures have locked things up, at least in this zone. No other red flags observed minus a tiny cornice-triggered avalanche from a day or two ago.

Problem #1 Comments
Only a problem in the highest, most exposed terrain where there is still a lot of snow available for transport. Some snow moving today but minimal in our location.
With the incoming storm, I expect WDS to continue to be the main problem.

Problem #2 Comments
Increasing danger tomorrow with incoming storm and strong winds.
Comments
Snow feels like we have turned the corner into real spring here with only surface and new snow instabilities with each storm. Lots and lots of slope testers out over the past few days with a quiet obs queue.
