Comments
We spent the day walking a beautiful ridge. In the sun, the snow became damp and heavy, and trees rained water drops. The snow stayed cold in the shade, and there were good riding conditions on the north side of the compass. Lots of bigger lines were skied / ridden today, and no avalanche activity was noted in our travels. Bring skin wax!
There was a widespread natural avalanche cycle during the storm. There was lots of debris in the flats, indicating that it ran during the storm.
Danger rating excludes steep sunny aspects.
