Problem #1 Comments
Stubborn graupel layer within the past few storms' snow, did not find facets in top 150cm of snowpack, but did get a collapse on the ground in a treed and rocky area. We dug three pits, one lower on a SE aspect, one higher on a SE aspect, and one on a NE aspect indicated by the photo. The pits on SE aspects yielded more stable results.

Comments
Snow was flagging off of ridge lines by 4PM, indicating a NW breeze. Wet loose debris on E and W aspects was not running full track, expect more wet loose activity with increased warming.
