Stormy day with on/off heavy snowfall, moderate winds moving lots of snow up and down slopw. Warm temps in am gave way to a cooler afternnon. Way warmer than just a few days ago.

Deep and slightly inverted with the top 4-6" being slightly higher density. Laborious trail breaking. Lots of medium density soft snow sitting atop last weekend's well preserved graupel sitting atop a stout MF crust.

Observed dozens of natural shallow soft slab avalanches in Beaver Canyon that likely occurred overnight Thur-Fri with high PI. Observed cracking in the new snow.

We stayed in low-angle terrain all day due to HIGH avalanche danger. Limited visibility all day so only observed nearby activity and localized red flags.
