Nice cold shallow powder conditions.. Powder and graupel capping a widespread hard melt-freeze crust from the early February warm spell.
Comments
The surface powder/graupel is rapidly faceting with these extremely cold temps. As heavier new snow overloads this, it will become an obvious and widespread weak layer.
