Spent the last 2 days in MCC.
Yesterday (Monday) I rode in West Porter with a exit into Main Porter Fork. No signs of instability expect loose snow avalanches in the steep terrain.
On our exit out we decided on the Inbetween Run, which avalanched during to rain/warm up last week, and ran most of the main track, with hard debries in the bottom of the run. So we rode 8-10"s of new snow on a hard bed surface.
Today we went up Yellow Jacket to Alexander, and a exit out Bonus Bowl to the road. New snow has a good bond, with no new signs of instability. Loose snow avalanches occurring in the steep terrain, with no new slab or propagation. Riders right side of Bonus bowl slide during the first part of last weekends storm, which made way to great turning conditions all the way to the road. We did step. into some avalanche terrain the last few days, but only in locations that we could manage our terrain.
Shout out to however put in the up track in Yellow Jacket a few days ago! They cleary knew what they were doing, as that traditonal track keeps you out of any overhead hazard.
