Comments
Performed ECT low in Elbow Fork on a W-NW aspect about 6900'. On tap 17, 7th hit from the elbow I observed a small collapse about 12" down from the surface but it did not seem to fully propagate through the column and didn't make it slide. Unscientifically cutting the right side of the column off and continuing, we gave it a few more hits from the elbow and the rest of the column slid much more fully on a weak layer just above the ground consisting of large grains. The snowpack was 2-3' deep with about 6-8 inches new snow on top.
