Comments
We observed a lot of strange wind effect on almost all slopes up Dry Canyon today. The west face of Logan peak was visibly wind scoured, so we skied a north facing slope instead. We thought it would be more protected but the wind had blown any exposed face and into the trees. In the trees there was on and off punch crust with some fluffy turns in between. We observed no propagating cracks or collapses, just a lot of inconsistent snow on all faces.
