Snow Characteristics Comments
Nice shallow powder conditions...
With very weak surface snow at all elevations in shaded, N-facing terrain.
We found the weakest snow around 8600 - 8900' (starting zone) where there was no structure - just shallow snow with layers of varying density facets, top to bottom.
Will be keeping a close eye on this setup while we await significant snowfall.
