Snow Characteristics Comments
Andy's forecast nailed it... why pull on the avalanche dragons tail when you've got options for avoidance and get great skiing to boot?
Added a little solar to my travels today and found excellent snow on a supportable, reboundy base. Yeah that snow's got body... baby!

Red Flags Comments
The snow underfoot feels bomber, but I remind myself to think not only about the snow I'm riding in, but also the snow I'm riding on and ya gotta do your homework. Knowing the history of the snow and digging around gives you the full reveal of the setup (strong snow on top of weak snow) and faceted weak layers on the polars aren't healing anytime soon.
