Walked up Cardiff from the BCC side today, first thing we noticed was a fresh, large avalanche on the Kessler Rock Slabs. Moving up the drainage we realized that no one had been past the George's Bowl turn off since the last storm, we continued up to the mine at the bottom of Mid Ivory. First thing I noticed was that there must have been a large slide in the Hallway last week and the debris was still visible in the runout at the mine. We also saw a fairly deep and fresh slide on the roll over at the bottom of mid Ivory on the skiers right side. I walked up to the top of the mine taillings hill and gave it a good stomp which created a booming collapse and spiderwebbed the slope with deep cracks but it did not slide. Not all that pleased with what I was seeing in the upper Cardiac terrain, not much evidence of large avalanches and a lot of slopes still sitting in tacked with a fat slab resting on a nasty PWL.
