Comments
Travels today sampled a variety of aspects and snow surfaces along the Duchesne Ridge. Most of the observed snow does not support skier weight, and makes for challenging skiing and skinning conditions. As a testament to the pace and severity of this faceting, a snow profile dug in an area containing some of the strongest observed snow still did not produce propagation an ECT, and contains almost entirely angular grains.
