Temperatures remained below 0 throughout the afternoon. I observed a very thin sun crust on S to SW aspects below 9k elevation during my ski out. I also observed that the most recent storm snow had been blown off of all the trees along the ridge lines in the Castle Peak area. I did not get the chance today to investigate the existence of wind slabs along the ridge lines, but I did not observe any wind loading below treeline.
