I snowshoed to Lake Catherine from Brighton. The snow was a bit wet and sloppy to Lake Mary and improved from there to Lake Catherine. I could see some likely wet release activity on Tuscarora and Sunset.
The weather was intermittent light to moderate graupel with winds gusting into the 20's. Temps cooled to the upper 20's at 10k feet. No lightning this time!
For late May, the snowshoeing above Mary was pretty awesome. About an inch of new snow. No one had been skiing Monday. Could be a good day or two up high until the May sun blasts it.
