Comments
Shallow, quick pit at 7500', ENE aspect moderately sheltered. CT of 19 on graupel (see photo) at 15cm from top, no propagation. From 15-30cm, snow was fairly moist, then melt/freeze layer and very cohesive below. 220 cm of snow total. warmed up quickly at 10:30-11am about 50 degrees at the bottom at 12:00. Lots of roller balls on the way out on all but due north or sheltered terrain. Very little natural activity noted. Some pockets of wind affected snow.
