Snow Characteristics Comments
Pretty rugged conditions on most aspects. High north facing still has some soft snow with a soft ice crust on top that is still rideable.

Problem #1 Comments
New snow coming overnight will likely get blown around and make some soft slabs of wind drifted snow. None today to worry about.
Comments
Deep strong snowpack. On high north facing, some of the old powder under a soft ice crust is a little bit faceted (weak) but shouldn't really be a problem.
Photo below showing snow conditions on north facing slope at 9800'. Tonight's anticipated 4-5" of snow will go a long way to improve conditions.
