Snow Characteristics Comments
A decent refreeze last night and some firm riding conditions this morning before things softened some, but the snow stayed a little on the firm side today. On due north facing slopes dense soft snow is still around, but it was very aspect dependent.

Comments
Not a lot going on from my observations in the Whitney area today. There are lots of tracks on slopes and riders have been getting into steep terrain around the compass.
The spring melt is on down at the trailhead, but overall there is great snow coverage right now.
