Problem #1 Comments
It's all about the wind which has been forming very dense drifts in odd places. Unsure how long these winds will keep blowing. As soon as they stop transporting snow, this problem will stabilize.
Comments
Photo of Neely Bowl near Wolf Creek Pass. It is able to get wind drifted snow from most directions except north.
Video of winds blowing upslope and eroding cornices. The true amount of snow moving isn't represented well in the video but it was like having a snow gun from a ski area blowing snow all day.
