Snow Characteristics Comments
Delightful turning conditions on most slopes except strongly sun affected slopes. There was only about 6 inches of new snow on most slopes while I found almost twice that much new snow yesterday at the head of Big Cottonwood Canyon. But still very good.

Red Flags Comments
No red flags. We went up Broads Fork to the upper bowl to around 10,000'. The take-home point is that there was a number of high-end athletes in Broads Fork that were completing some ambitious projects without triggering any avalanches. By the end of the day, there were many slopes with tracks in bold, very committing terrain. Bonkers was mostly tracked out. There were tracks, both ascending and descending, in many of the large, NE facing big terrain: Diving Board, Blue Ice, a ski and boot ascent up the steep, rocky NE face of Twin Peaks, the pass between Broads Fork and Tanners, and there were many parties going up Broads Fork, over the ridge in several places and descending Mill B South. Many seemed to be solo. There was clearly a lot of parties with an "open season" strategic mindset. From what I observed and tested it was mostly Low danger.
Comments
A couple photos from mid Broads Fork from the beaver poinds, one of the tracks in Bonkers and another of the entire upper drainage.
