Snow Characteristics Comments
Kind of a sleeper of a storm yesterday and we found about 6" of nice low density snow this morning at the trail head. The riding and turning conditions were very nice today and the cool temps kept any wet and damp snow issues from developing.
Red Flags
Red Flags Comments
No big red flags in my travels around the mid elevation/mid canyon terrain up Hwy 150. The recent low denity was easily sluffing on steeper slopes and some of these piled up some fairly decent debris against trees. Not a big problem unless you were in steep and narrow terrain.

Problem #1 Comments
Anywhere from 6-8" of new snow from yesterday would sluff easily today and was not a problem unless in steep terrain.
Comments
These sluffs of new snow were the only issue I observed today as I spent some time around the mid-elevation terrain. The snow pack is starting to feel deep and generally stable and outside of the issues Craig and the other forecasters have talked about it's a great time to move around through the forest.
