Snow Characteristics Comments
The shallow new snow was well settled and getting a bit heavy in the sun. It was lighter in north-facing terrain. We found the best shallow powder and dust-on-crust conditions on low-angled slopes.

Problem #1 Comments
We didn't have any problems with wind-drifted snow because there was only a few inches of accumulation in this area from yesterday's storm. The shallow drifts in the area were not reactive.
Comments
We found less new snow than we expected and a solid snowpack at low elevations in the Rick's Spring Area of Logan Canyon.
The avalanche danger in this area was low today, with stable snow and avalanches unlikely.
