We started walking uphill at 7,500' in what I would call rain. Very wet snow. Above 8,000' it was snowing very dense and small pellets. Fog and intermittent heavy snow at times. Did I mention it was wet?

Lots going on right now with our snowpack right now. It's being pulled in so many directions. Can't say I trust riding any avalanche terrain for the moment.

I was able to get ECTP 8 in one snowpit location. This was on an SE facing slope at 8,800'.
It was very wet at 7,500'.
