Comments
We went in search of buried preserved surface hoar from early February and found some. We dug on NW slopes, one sheltered around treeline and one that seemed a bit more in the wind zone on the edge of tree line. We found the SH about 70cm down. It did not produce propagation with an ECT. It was on the edge of the range of and ECT and had a pretty hard slab on top in both instances.
We found a number of crusts on SE as expected. We did get and ECTP from around the Valentines day sun.
Over all great riding conditions existes on all espects at upper terrain out of the wind zone and at mid elevation on polar slopes. The warmth and greenhousing today took a hit on low elevations.
