Left from spruces parking around 11am. Very artic along the short swing ridge, which the skin track boldly took to rather early. Did not experience any collapsing or cracking or sluffing. Did a little poking and found an HS of 145 at 8300ft on a SE slope. The crust was 30cm down. Shovel tilt test had a clean shear on an imperceptible layer 15cm down within the new snow.
